Laura O’Brien brings over 30 years of nursing experience to her Telehealth practice, combining clinical excellence with deep compassion. A board-certified RN, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Physician Assistant, Laura began her career at Stanford University and later earned her advanced nursing credentials from UC Davis, where she completed her boards with honors.
As founder of WellEdge Telemedicine Nursing Corporation, she offers thoughtful, patient-centered care with a focus on women’s health, weight management, and hormonal balance. Her approach integrates evidence-based medicine with a holistic view of each patient’s needs, creating a space for healing that is both personalized and empowering.
Laura’s deep commitment to service is reflected in over 35 years of volunteer work in her local community. She is also dedicated to personal growth through spiritual practice, nature, and lifelong learning. When not working with her patients, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, dancing with friends, reading widely, walking the rolling foothills of Northern California and soaking in the beauty of the ocean during travels.
